September 8, 2012 update:

The Grand Jury Petition Signatures were turned into the Johnson County, KS Court Clerk on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012.
A Grand Jury will be called within 60 days.
The jurors will be selected by the District Judge with the help of the District Attorney.
The Grand Jury will then look at the Overland Park Arboretum Statue, “Choice / Accept or Reject” and at the Kansas State Statutes and see if it violates the law.

We have 100% of the signatures required and are on track with our timeline.

Thank you for all your hard work!
Several organizations and churches have joined the petition drive and have systematically collected signatures.
Even though we have met the goal we welcome more petition signatures.
